Deanna is a doctoral-prepared Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a comprehensive background in nursing. With over 20 years of diverse nursing experience, her decision to pursue a career as a mental health nurse practitioner was driven by the rising need for mental health services within her community. Deanna has practiced across multiple settings, including acute hospital care, administrative roles, mental health crisis management, outpatient mental health practice, academia, school- and community-based programs, and as a Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner.

 

Through her personal and professional experiences, Deanna has developed a passion for supporting individuals who face emotional challenges related to weight management. She is committed to providing comprehensive, evidence-based therapy services to promote holistic well-being and sustainable health outcomes.

 

Outside of her professional commitments, Deanna enjoys spending quality time with her husband, five children, and three boxers.
